Juan Carlos Escobedo (born February 23, 1975 ) is a Spanish rock musician and founder of the bands Sôber and Savia . With the former band he was able to celebrate many successes in Spain.

Life

Escobedo grew up as a child in a family that was shaped by music. As a child he learned to play the guitar . At the age of 14 he made his first appearance on stage, together with his brothers David and Felipe, as well as their friend Ruiz. The group called themselves Jesus Remains and played death metal . The band broke up after riots in 1991. Two years later he founded the band Sôber with his other brother Jorge . Until 2004 the band celebrated many national successes before they parted ways. Carlos founded the band Savia in 2005 , his brother the band Skoo in the same year.

Career

As a child, Escobedo learned to play the guitar. At the age of 14 he played in the death metal band Jesus Remains, which broke up in 1991 after unrest within the band. Two years later, he and his brother Jorge founded the band Sôber, which separated in 2004. With Sôber he released a total of 5 albums and 8 singles. With Savia, which he founded in 2005, he has released 3 albums so far. The musical style with Savia is equated with that of Sôber. In the music video for the song "Paradysso" from the album of the same name you can see that Escobedo is also able to play the violin .

Influences

The music style Escobedo is influenced by bands from the rock and metal area , such as Black Sabbath , Deep Purple , Ozzy Osbourne , Nickelback and Incubus .
