The Savio Macchine Tessili SpA is an international manufacturer of textile machinery based in Pordenone in Friuli-Venezia Giulia . The company is active in the technology fields of winding , twisting and rotor spinning .

history

Marcello Savio founded the Savio Macchine Tessili company in 1911. In 1998 it was taken over by the Radici Group . In November 2011, Alpha Group took over 100% of the shares in Savio Macchine Tessili SpA from Itema Holding.

Since the invention of the “CSr” machine in 1954, automatic winding machines have made up 85-90% of sales.
