The Saw Rock (from English saw ' saw ' ) is a 25 m (according to the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee 24 m ) high cliff rock in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands . It rises from the South Atlantic 0.6 km north of Vindication Island's Crosscut Point .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it and named it in 1930. The name was probably made in connection with that of Crosscut Point.
