Sawan Singh

Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj (* 1858 , † 1948 ) was an Indian mystic .

Hazur Baba Sawan Singh showed a great interest in spirituality from early childhood. His search for a spiritual master finally led him to Baba Jaimal Singh , who initiated him into the inner mysteries in 1894.

Hazur Baba Sawan Singh devoted his life to meditation and the spiritual values ​​of life. When Baba Jaimal Singh left this world in 1903, he named Hazur Baba Sawan Singh as his spiritual successor.

In the course of his mastery, the teachings of Sant Mat were recognized as a natural way to achieve the spiritual goals of self-knowledge and knowledge of God.

Works by and about Hazur Baba Sawan Singh published in the West have been of great help to many seekers in learning to meditate on the inner light and sound.

Before he died, he named Sardar Bahadur Jagat Singh as his spiritual successor. His Beas students began separate spiritual missions in other places in India after his death. These are Sant Kirpal Singh , Baba Somanath, Pritam Das, Shah Mastana Ji and Ishwar Puri.
