The book of the priest Sawa (Russian Саввина книга , Sawwina kniga ) is a manuscript in Church Slavonic from the 11th century from Bulgaria. 166 sheets of parchment have survived containing texts from the four Gospels of the New Testament for the liturgical readings on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays ( Evangelistar ), as well as a Synaxarion . 129 sheets were created in the 11th century in eastern Bulgaria ( School of Preslaw ?), Probably based on a text in Glagolitic script . Some initials are decorated. It was added in the 14th century, probably in Russia (Novgorod or the surrounding area).

The manuscript was in the Seredkino Monastery near Pskov until the 17th century. Today it is kept in the Russian State Archives for Old Documents in Moscow .
