Say yay! is a song by the Spanish singer Barei . She represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song .

Background and publication

On December 29, 2015, the candidates for Objetivo Eurovisión , the Spanish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, were presented. Among them was the singer Barei with the song Say Yay! . The show took place on February 1, 2016. Barbarism received the most points in the jury and televoting and was thus selected, Spain at the music competition in Sweden's Stockholm to represent.

Music video

The official music video for the song was produced by Gus Carballo and mostly shot at various locations in the Spanish capital, Madrid . Some scenes also come from other cities such as London , Berlin or Stockholm. It was first presented on March 10, 2016 including a slightly revised version of the song.
