Method of body sweeping

In the "systematic sensorineural observation" (eng. Body sweeping , body by sweeping ') of U Ba Khin of mind is before the actual calming Vipassanā -Praxis Anapana practiced in which the sensations around the nostrils at each inhalation and exhalation more precise to be viewed as. Afterwards, with vipassanā of this approach, one's own body is systematically wandered through with mindfulness in order to grasp the different areas of sensation and, if they are painful, areas of tension more and more directly, until their transience, their inadequacy or their non-self are understood on a deeper level . So the unconscious grasping of things is increasingly disappearing. “Just look and don't react” or “Remain indifferent in understanding impermanence, impermanence, impermanence”.
In India, this technique is now taught in most prisons on the recommendation of the Interior Ministry.
