Sayaka Satō ( Japanese 佐藤 冴 香 , Satō Sayaka ; born March 29, 1991 in Sendai , Miyagi Prefecture ) is a Japanese badminton player .

Career

Sayaka Satō won silver in the women's singles at the 2008 Junior Badminton World Championships . A year later she was successful in women's singles at the New Zealand Open. At the 2010 World University Championship, she won third place. With the Japanese women's team, Sato finished third at the Uber Cup 2010 team championship .
