Arrondissement de Coblence
The Arrondissement de Coblence (German: Arrondissement Koblenz , also district of Koblenz ) was one of three administrative units in the Rhine-Mosel department . The district was in the years 1798 to 1814 of the French Republic (1798-1804) and the French Empire (1804-1814).
As a result of the resolutions at the Congress of Vienna , the area came to the Kingdom of Prussia in 1815 , became part of the Koblenz administrative district in 1816 and became part of the Rhine Province in 1822 . The area has belonged to Rhineland-Palatinate since 1946 .

The arrondissement of Koblenz was divided into 12 cantons , 30 mairies and 204 municipalities , in which a total of 97,544 inhabitants lived in 1812.
