The Scandinavian Hydrogen Highway Partnership (SHHP) is an amalgamation of the organizations Hynor ( Norway ), Hydrogen Sweden ( Sweden ) and Hydrogen Link ( Denmark ) with the aim of establishing one of the first European regions in the three Scandinavian countries in which hydrogen for Vehicles available and usable in a network of hydrogen filling stations.

The SHHP was founded in 2006 with the aim of establishing Scandinavia as a lead market in Europe for the subject of hydrogen transport. The national organizations Hynor , Hydrogen Sweden and Hydrogen Link represent institutions of different sizes from industry, research and local authorities. SHHP has associated partners in Iceland, Finland and Canada ( BC Highway ). By 2015 the SHHP wanted to build a network with 15 hydrogen filling stations, 30 branch offices, 500 automobiles, 500 special vehicles and 100 buses.

At the end of 2009 seven hydrogen filling stations were in operation, in Stavangar, Grenland, Drammen, Oslo in Norway, in Ringkøbing and Copenhagen in Denmark, and in Malmö in Sweden. A petrol station in Holstebro, Denmark, was under construction and eight more were planned (4 in Norway, 3 in Sweden and 1 in Denmark).

In 2010 a second petrol station went into operation in Stavanger. In mid-2011 there were 12 in Denmark, 5 in Norway and one hydrogen filling station in Sweden. 6 more filling stations are planned or built in Norway, 3 in Sweden and 2 in Denmark.

At the beginning of 2016, the SHHP map shows 17 active hydrogen filling stations, most (nine) in Denmark and six in Norway. Five fuel cell buses operate around Oslo and 37 fuel cell cars ( Think Fuel Cell City Car and Hyundai ix35 FCEV ) are listed for the countries of the SHHP .
