Schöllerweg 4
The property at Schöllerweg 4 , sometimes also referred to as Haus Schöller , is one of the oldest preserved buildings in the old town center of Schöller , a district in the Vohwinkel district of Wuppertal . The building is protected as a monument from June 10, 1994 .
The building is a two-storey half - timbered house complex, the oldest part of which dates from the late 17th or early 18th century. The residential and commercial building has a gable roof and is built on a massive rubble stone base. Between 1973 and 1975 it was extensively modernized.
At the end of the 1920s it was also known as Haus Pöttmann. A restaurant was operated in the house for a long time, making it a place for excursions. In March 2008 the business was closed and the house with a plot of 540 m² was for sale. From February 2010, the house and the area of the former restaurant were renovated and converted into condominiums.
