The CFL-250 DV-R series from Schöma is a two-axle diesel locomotive with hydraulic power transmission . One locomotive each was built in 1981 and 1991. A locomotive is located at the Delmenhorst-Harpstedter Eisenbahn .
History and commitment
The first machine was sold to Michelin Reifenwerke AG in Bad Kreuznach in 1981 and was in use there until 1994 with inventory number 1 . It was then sold to Switzerland .
The second locomotive was delivered to the Delmenhorst-Harpstedter Eisenbahn in 1991 , where it carried the bulk of the freight traffic. It was used in particular for the Adelheide connecting railway and to the Feldwebel-Lilienthal barracks , where it could be used in one-man shunting service with its radio remote control and automatic coupling . The locomotive has the NVR number 98 80 0991 001-5 D-DHE in the German vehicle settings register .
Constructive features
The locomotives were developed from the point of view of rail vehicles by the industry together with the Federal Association of German Railways in the Association of German Transport Companies. The front end locomotive with a central driver's cab has a larger front end for the machinery and a smaller, narrower front end for the auxiliary operations. The front ends are secured with railings, the driver's cab has a large window in the direction of travel and only one step from the right rear runway.
The machine system consists of a diesel engine from MTU Friedrichshafen and a fluid transmission from Voith . After the reversing gear, the drive wheels are driven by cardan shafts.
