history

The three-storey property was built in 1908/09 in Art Nouveau style on behalf of Franz Grom, the owner of a mineral water distributor. In 1907, the architect Bernhard Geiling submitted a draft, but Franz Grom criticized the "unpleasant relationship between the narrow bay window and the large building and the low roof". In November 1907, the Bad Kissingen architect Leonhard Ritter presented a revised draft. The core of the building was built based on Geiling's designs and the facade based on Ritter's designs.
