Schöner Wohnen is a magazine with new trends, reports, interviews and photographs from the area of living and decoration. The furniture or objects used for the pictures and their prices are specified in the page texts. Bettina Billerbeck has been editor-in-chief since April 2013 . The founding editor-in-chief of the booklet published by Constanze-Verlag at the time was initially Hasso G. Stachow. The architect Josef Kremerskothen coined the paper as editor-in-chief between 1961 and 1987. The publisher Angelika Jahr-Stilcken headed the editorial office from 1988 to 2008. Ulrich Weiß followed her in 2008. Stephan Schäfer held this position from July 2009 to April 2013. Between 1960 and 1970, Peter Maly , now one of the most famous German designers, worked as a key interior designer for Schöner Wohnen .
