Schönfließ is a place in the Märkisch-Oderland district in Brandenburg and has been part of the city of Lebus since December 31, 1998 .
history
Schönfließ was first mentioned in a document around 1354 as Schönenflies . The feudal lord was the Margrave of Brandenburg and from 1354 to 1598 the Bishop of Lebus. Of the church in the village, which was built in 1878 as a single-nave neo-Romanesque brick building, only a ruin remains today. At the end of February 1945, German troops blew up the church tower. The nave was also badly damaged.

Economy and Infrastructure
Between 1877 and 1881 Schönfließ was connected to the Eberswalde – Frankfurt (Oder) railway with a train station . Today the Niederbarnimer Railway runs on the route .
The Mallnow windmill operates a wind farm near Schönfließ.
Culture and sights
The list of monuments in Lebus includes the monuments of all districts entered in the list of monuments of the state of Brandenburg.
There is an approx. Hundred-year-old clay oven in the village, in which baking is done every year as part of a village festival.
