Schönmünz

Schönmünz is a district of the Baden-Württemberg community of Baiersbronn in the Freudenstadt district . The district of Schönmünz consists of the hamlets Zwickgabel, Leimiß, Vorder-. Mittel- and Hinterlangenbach as well as from the settlements of Volzenhäuser and Tauchert. Schönmünz belongs to the village of Schwarzenberg .

geography

The district of Schönmünz is located in a western side valley of the Murg in the northern Black Forest and extends over nine kilometers along the Schönmünztal from Schönmünzach to Volzenhäuser and the Langenbachtal from Hinterlangenbach to its confluence with the Schönmünz in Zwickgabel. The upper valley of the Schönmünz is part of the Black Forest National Park , in which the Volzenhäuser settlement is an enclave.

The village of Zwickgabel is a timber house settlement from the 18th century. There has been a small Protestant church in Zwickgabel since 1932.

Langenbach

The hamlets of Vorder-, Mittel- and Hinterlangenbach are located in the Langenbachtal. There is a forester's house in Hinterlangenbach.

religion

The majority of the population is evangelical. The Schönmünzer are parish in Schwarzenberg. For the Catholic Christians there is the church in Schönmünzach. There is a New Apostolic Church in Mittellangenbach.
