The Schütt 5 building in Braunfels , a town in the Lahn-Dill district in Hesse , was built in 1901. The half-timbered house is a protected architectural monument .

description

The building was built in 1901 for Ernst Henrich and his wife Elise as a residential building and municipal office, based on the plans of the architect Carl Seiler . A half-timbered upper floor with a corner tower and bay window stands above the massive ground floor in neo-renaissance forms . This is provided with numerous inscriptions and carvings. Inside, the stucco ceilings and stained glass windows in the bay window are noteworthy.
