Schacks publishing house

The Schacks Verlag was established in 1998 by the brothers Holger and Michael Schack in Leipzig specialty publisher of flip books , a special form of miniature book . Between 1999 and 2003, the Schack family was only minority shareholders after surrendering a total of 55% of the company's shares to investors and employees. Since 2003, as part of a reorganization, all shares in the company have been family-owned again. The managing partner was Holger Schack, and the company was registered under HRB  16171 at the Leipzig District Court . According to an announcement dated February 8, 2016, the Schacks publishing company for optical toys and advertising media mbH has been dissolved.

The company's range comprised around 80 of its own titles, which were sold in bookshops and on the Internet . In addition, the publisher imported famous flip books collections.

The company has been dealing with personalization and web-to-print since 2000 . Flip books and other products could be individually designed and produced in very small quantities with the digital image and video data of corporate customers and private users.
