The Scheimpflug nunatak is an approximately 400 m high nunatak on the Danco coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . On the Arctowski Peninsula, it rises at the mouth of the Deville Glacier in Andvord Bay .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it using aerial photographs from Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. from 1956 to 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the Austrian geodesist Theodor Scheimpflug (1865-1911), a pioneer of aerial photography .
