The Deville Glacier is a glacier on the Danco coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows along the south side of Laussedat Heights to Andvord Bay .
The glacier was first identified without a name on an Argentine map from 1952. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on September 23, 1960 after the French-Canadian explorer and cartographer Édouard Gaston Deville (1849-1924), who introduced and improved photogrammetric methods for surveying Canada from 1888 onwards .
