Scheretnebti , also Scheret-Nebti , was an ancient Egyptian king's daughter from the 5th Dynasty , who lived during the time of the Old Kingdom . Their mastaba was found in October 2012 by Czech archaeologists near Abusir , where a large necropolis of that time is located. She bore the title natural and beloved princess .

Pharaoh Men Salbo

In the worldwide coverage of the discovery of the Sheretnebti tomb in early November 2012, she was often referred to as the daughter of Pharaoh Men Salbo . But there never was a pharaoh with such a name and he was not mentioned in the newly discovered inscriptions. At first it was also unclear how this misunderstanding could arise from the inscription on the pillars in the courtyard of the tomb. The error probably arose from an incorrect translation of the Arabic press release.
