The Scherp ( Russian Шерп ) is an off-road vehicle from the Russian manufacturer of the same name.

The vehicle was developed in 2012 by the Russian designer Alexei Garagashyan. In 2015 it was presented for the first time at the trade fair for off-road vehicles in Moscow . Since then, production has been in St. Petersburg , and a second production site was added later in Kiev .

The amphibious vehicle with all-wheel drive and low-pressure tires has armored steering . The direction of travel is changed by braking the wheels on one side. The maximum speed on the road is 40  km / h , in the water 6 km / h.

A Kubota diesel engine with a displacement of 1.5 l and an output of 45 hp serves as the drive .

The tire pressure can be reduced to 0.5 bar. The inflation takes place with the engine exhaust gases.

The ground clearance is 0.6 m.

The capacity of the tank is 80 liters, and the four wheel hubs can accommodate optional additional tanks with a capacity of 58 liters each. The dry weight is 1.3 t. The vehicle is 3.40 m long and 2.52 m wide. It offers eight seats.
