Scheveningen Radio Station IJmuiden

Scheveningen Radio was internationally one of the most famous coastal radio stations for maritime communication with ships on all seas . From 1904 to 1999 this Dutch station radioed with the callsign PCH under the responsibility of the Dutch PTT (Post Telegraphy and Telephony). With the termination of all radio services from PCH, the necessary monitoring of the emergency call channels was transferred to the JRCC Den Helder , which can be reached via the nickname DEN HELDER RESCUE.

Today there is a radio station with this name: Omroep Scheveningen .
