The Schierensee is a lake in the district of Plön in the German state Schleswig-Holstein, southeast of the village of Wankendorf . It belongs to the Bornhöveder chain of lakes , is about 30 hectares in size and up to 5.5 m deep. Its length is about one kilometer, at its widest point it is about 300 meters wide.
The shores of the lake are dominated by a dense population of deciduous trees, only on the north-eastern side fields reach the lake shore.
