The Schiller-Gymnasium Pforzheim is a state-recognized, private all-day school . Since 1986 the high school has been named after the poet Friedrich Schiller (1759–1805) from Marbach in Swabia .

The Schiller-Gymnasium Pforzheim was founded after the Boxberg-Gymnasium went bankrupt in 1986. Since then it has been supported by the city of Pforzheim and the association .
Support association
The development association at the Schiller-Gymnasium Pforzheim has set itself the task of making school time as pleasant and effective as possible for the students . As a co-partner of the Pforzheim Whole Day School, the Friends' Association has a say in important decisions. The development association is recognized as a non-profit organization.
