The building with the postal address Schillstraße 18 is a listed building on Schillstraße in Stralsund .

The three-storey eaves brick building is essentially a hall house from around 1350, which is unusually completely preserved. The original structure of the facade with the high pointed arch portal of the hall and the flanking windows can still be clearly seen. Segment hatches are arranged under the eaves .

In the 17th century a mezzanine was added, a low basket arch portal was added, the other openings were walled up and windowed.

In the 16th and 17th centuries, a blacksmith's trade was based here, as archaeological research has shown.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 680.
