Schlesien Aktuell is a German-language radio broadcast in Poland. It is aimed at the German minority in the Opole Voivodeship .
The program Schlesien Aktuell is broadcast Monday to Friday from 7.45pm to 8.00pm on the public broadcaster Radio Opole . The show is moderated by Rudolf Urban and Karina Niemiec. Schlesien Aktuell is realized by the production company Pro Futura GmbH on behalf of the German minority.
Schlesien Aktuell was broadcast on Radio Opole for the first time on April 15, 1998. Since then, the offer has been continuously expanded.
The content of the program includes news, reports, interviews, event tips and comments, including the latest on the German minority in Upper Silesia and German-Polish topics. Between the contributions, German-language music is played, ranging from hits to rock music. On Tuesdays, Schlesien Aktuell is aimed at the younger audience.
Since 2013 there has been the daily news format Schlesien Aktuell compact with news from politics, culture and economy and weekly the magazine Schlesien Aktuell - the magazine .
