Radio Opole
Radio Opole is the regional public radio program or radio provider for the Opole Voivodeship . It is part of a network of 17 regional programs. The organizer currently operates three radio programs.
The station started broadcasting in 1952. After the introduction of broadcasting via DAB + on October 1, 2014, a second program called Radio Opole 2 was started in October 2015. Radio Opole Ekstra was added as the third station. In 2015 they started with an internet stream.
The editorial office is based on the Pascheke in Opole. The station has correspondents in Brzeg (Brieg), Krapkowice (Krappitz), Kędzierzyn-Koźle (Kandrzin-Kosel), Kluczbork (Kreuzburg OS), Nysa (Neisse), Olesno (Rosenberg OS), Prudnik (Neustadt OS), Głubczyce ( Leobschütz), Namysłów (Namslau) and Strzelce Opolskie (Groß Strehlitz).
Radio Opole also broadcasts several programs in German for the German minority. In the beginning, only the program Schlesien Aktuell was broadcast for a long time , but the number of broadcasts increased in the 2010s.
