The Schleußer pond is a pond southwest of the village Schleuss in the Altmark in Saxony-Anhalt . It is located in the area around Tangerhütte .
The pond, surrounded by agricultural land and tree-lined on its eastern bank, is about 120 meters long (southwest to northeast) with a maximum width of about 50 meters. There is a tendency towards silting up in the southern part .
To the west of the pond runs the Wildpark Route bike and hiking trail from Brunkau to Schleuss. A rest area has been set up on the south bank of the pond.
