The lock Marbach is a river sluice and is in the direction of flow of the river Neckar from a double lock on the left bank and a hydroelectric power plant and a three-span weir on the right bank at river kilometer 158.75 (see dam Marbach ). The actual lock system as well as the residences of the lock personnel are located in the district of Benningen am Neckar .
