The Schlieper Bay is a bay on the south coast of South Georgia , near the western end of the island. Your entrance is bounded by Weddell Point and Romerof Head .
The bay was named between 1905 and 1912 after the German-born American Hermann H. Schlieper, the first director of the whaling company Compañía Argentina de Pesca from 1904 to 1915.
