The Schloßsee (Buggenhagen) is a lake in the municipality of Buggenhagen in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district . It is east of the village. The bank is almost completely overgrown with reeds, only on the south bank is a small, not overgrown area. The Buggenhagen manor house is in a park on the west bank. However, no access is possible from there. The lake has a north-south extension of about 550 meters and a west-east extension of about 190 meters. The water level is, based on the Amsterdam level , half a meter below that of the sea.
