The house at Schloßstraße 26 was probably a residential building in Dresden that was built in the late 15th century . In 1911 the house was demolished.

history

From 1610 the owner was the goldsmith Hans Unter den Linden. From 1647 to 1657 the house belonged to the goldsmith Wenzel Gerlach and from 1738 to 1770 to the jewelers Mühldech and Jordan. In 1911 the house was demolished.

description

Cornelius Gurlitt sees the construction date of the three-storey and three-axle house around 1480. The late Gothic window frames are evidence of this. After Henning Prinz , a renovation or new building took place in 1650. The house received the two-story wooden bay window with winding columns on the second floor.

Stefan Hertzig describes that Klengel's decorative forms "adorned Dresden bay windows of the 17th century with a" very strong, swirling, juicy look ", including that of the house at Schloßstraße 26.
