The Deutsch Jägel Castle ( Polish Pałac w Jagielnie ) is a ruinous castle in today's Polish Jagielno (German Deutsch Jägel ), a village in the Przeworno (Prieborn) municipality in the Strzeliński powiat in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship .
The castle is considered the oldest castle building from the Renaissance with four corner towers, but its external appearance was changed significantly in the 18th century. Some extensions were also added in the 19th century. The old building, which can still be seen today, is rectangular and stands on a high artificial embankment . The four corner towers are round up to the eaves height , and hexagonal above. This structure probably no longer dates from the Renaissance.
