Donnersbach Castle
Donnersbach Castle stands on a steeply sloping hill west of the town of Donnersbach in the market town of Irdning-Donnersbachtal in the Liezen district in Styria . The castle and the Donnersbach parish church have been under monument protection since 2017 ( list entry ).
history
A medieval fortification was founded by Achatz Schrott after 1530. The facility was expanded by Hans Adam Schrott and gives the year 1589 above the entrance.
architecture
Two wings at right angles to each other are connected to a gallery by an archway. Above the driveway there are two coupled windows with a central column with the year 1589.
