action
Maria and Niels are in their mid-twenties. They love each other and the freedoms they give each other. For both of them, only the moment counts. But then the couple meets the London doctoral student Chloe. Maria dares to take the first step - and a flirtation quickly turns into an intense romance between the two women. Niels will soon be a part of it. After initial complications, the trio had a carefree time together - until unexpected news put the relationship of the three lovers to a hard test.
criticism
On Spiegel Online , Carolin Weidner names the film as the highlight of the Berlinale 2019: "Together with Paula Knüpling, director Thomas Moritz Helm [...] created a female figure who lives 'in an outrageous relationship to herself' and takes what she does want." Patrick Heidmann notes in epd-film that Thomas Moritz Helm has given the old theme of the triangular relationship a refreshingly light, atmospheric and sexy note. Heidmann praises the credible dialogues, the authentic Berlin image and the convincing acting. During his time at the cinema , Harald Mühlbeyer writes that Helm does not exhibit his main characters, but participates in life with them.
