Höhenkirchen Castle
Höhenkirchen Castle is a former castle within the village of Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn . Today it fulfills the function of a residential and commercial building.
history
The building at Rosenheimer Straße 11 in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn was built in the 15th and 16th centuries, and alterations were made in the 19th century. Today the castle presents itself as a two and a half story building with a hipped roof. As can be seen in an engraving by Michael Wening from 1710, the former Hofmarksschloss originally consisted of two separate buildings that were combined to form today's complex. The castle was owned by the barons Schrenk zu Notzing and Egmating , among others .
