The palace was probably built in the 18th century by the Sweerts-Sporck family , the first major restoration was carried out in 1898 by Theodor Grohmann .

The building had a rectangular floor plan and a tower with an onion dome on the north side. The east facade, which leads to the large-scale park, stands out for its gables decorated with vases. In the park with many bridges there is also a small pavilion and statues of ancient gods. The last major renovation was carried out in 1998. The castle is currently used as a retirement home .
