The Schlossberg is a 61 meter high elevation in Buckow in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park in the Märkisch-Oderland district in Brandenburg . It is located at the northern end of the castle park .
The mountain was in the last Vistula-Ice Age , when the with dead ice filled the Oder and the Berlin glacial valley (today Spreetal) was formed. At this time the Barnimplatte separated from the Lebuser Platte ; the Buckower cauldron was created .
