The Schlossbrauerei Fuchsberg is a beer brewery in the Upper Palatinate Fuchsberg , a district of Teunz . In 2008 it had an annual production of 18,000 hectoliters.
history
The chronicle of the castle goes back to the 14th century. Presumably there were already bridal activities in the castle in the Middle Ages. The Fuchsberg Castle Brewery was first recorded in 1663.
In 1870 the Vogl family acquired the castle brewery and inherited it. The brewery is still owned by the family.
Brewing process
Brewing takes place in open fermentation tanks with CO 2 extraction. Is used Wildensteiner mountain spring water.
Awards
In 2012, the brewer trained in the company was chosen as the national champion in the brewing trade.
Products
The product range includes the beer types Urhell , Pilsner Premium , Pils , Leichte Weisse , Weisse , Radler and St. Jakobus . It is filled in crown cork bottles .
The following strong beers aged in barrique oak barrels are worth mentioning : 1663 Eik , 1663 Keltik , 1663 Matador , 1663 Tanasi and 1663 Sherish .

The brewery is a member of the Brauring , a cooperation between private breweries from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
