The Schlossbrauerei Naabeck is a castle brewery in Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

history

The castle has existed since brewing rights were granted in 1620. Shortly afterwards, the estate was taken over by the Counts of Spielberg. In 1803 the castle brewery was built and expanded by Karl Joseph Graf von Drechsel . His last descendant sold the castle estate again in 1892. In 1919 the estate was bought by the Rasel family, who have continued it to this day and continue to brew beer there. This beer is used to supply restaurants, rifle parties and fire brigade festivals throughout the Upper Palatinate . In 1993, the Schlossbrauerei Naabeck took over the Plank wheat beer brewery in Wiefelsdorf, and Jura wheat has been brewed there ever since.
