Locksmiths
Schlosserbuben are a warm pastry with plums in Austrian cuisine .
preparation
Dried plums are boiled with red wine and cloves and then cooled. The stones are replaced with peeled almonds . The filled fruits are pulled through wine dough with the help of a fork and the locksmiths are baked golden brown in hot fat. Then drain them on paper towels and toss them in a mixture of icing sugar and grated chocolate before serving . You can serve it with vanilla sauce .
