Eller Castle Church

The Castle Church in Düsseldorf district of Eller was at the beginning of the 20th century Romanesque Revival built style, dating back to a foundation. It belongs to the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland .

The land and the capital to build the church were brought in through a foundation by the owners of Eller Castle at the time , the married couple Clara, née Vohwinkel, and Hermann von Krüger. The church was built according to plans by the architect Moritz Korn in the neo-Romanesque style. Her consecration took place on November 5, 1905. It is a three-aisled brick basilica that was painted white. The side aisles were used as a kindergarten at times.

The Eller Castle Church has been a listed building since 1984.
