The Schlossschmiede is a listed forge in Ballenstedt in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located on the southeastern edge of the Ballenstedt castle district on the southern outskirts of Ballenstedt at the eastern end of the street Am Brauberg , on the south side. In front of the house, Holsteiner Strasse and Lindenallee meet at Am Brauberg. The Selketalstieg runs north of the house .

Architecture and history

The simple, single-storey building was built in the early 19th century in the classicism style . It is broad and has a flat central risalit in which the entrance door is also arranged. The risalit is spanned by a triangular gable. The house is covered by a hipped roof .

In the local register of monuments , the forge is listed as a monument under registration number 094 50196 .
