course
The route began at the station Nieszawa wąskotorowa near the train station Nieszawa Waganiec on the railway line Kutno-Pila and ran southwestward over Dobre Alexandrowskie (km 27,68), the end point of the narrow-gauge railway Aleksandrów Kujawski Dobre Aleksandrowskie and the beginning of the narrow-gauge railway Dobre Aleksandrowskie-Jerzmanowo , Radziejów Kujawski (km 36.85), the crossing under the Chorzów – Tczew and Piotrków Kujawski (km 45.11) to Sompolno (km 62.930), the start of the Sompolno – Dąbie Kolskie narrow-gauge railway and the Sompolno – Jabłonka Słupecka narrow-gauge railway .
history
The Nieszawa – Dobre section was opened in 1908 as a beet railway, the rest of the line from 1908 partly as a beet railway, partly as an army field railway, and passenger traffic was operated on the entire route from 1922 at the latest.
During the German occupation of Poland from 1939 to 1945 , the station names were temporarily Germanized.
The section Dobre Aleksandrowskie – Sompolno was operated in passenger traffic until at least 1982, most recently with a single pair of trains that took over two hours, longer than 1943, when three pairs of trains were still running. On the remaining Nieszawa – Dobre Aleksandrowskie section, passenger traffic was operated until at least 1990, in 1989/1990 with two pairs of trains. In 2001, another pair of trains operated on request. Both sections were shut down, the former between 1989 and 2004, the latter on June 13, 2004.
