Sompolno ( German 1939-1943 Deutscheck , 1943-1945 Deutscheneck ) is a town and seat of the town and country municipality of the same name in the Powiat Koniński of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland .
history
On December 13, 1477, the Archbishop of Gniezno , Jakob Sienno , gave the two villages of Sompolno, the ecclesiastical and the formerly noble, city rights.

The narrow-gauge railway Aleksandrów Kujawski – Sompolno , coming from the north, ended in Sompolno , and the narrow-gauge railway Sompolno – Jabłonka Słupecka and the narrow-gauge railway Sompolno – Dąbie Kolskie began. At the latter, the narrow-gauge railway Włocławek – Przystronie ended at the village of Przystronie.
