Jacopo Comin

Jacopo Comin (born April 5, 1901 in Padua , † April 3, 1973 in Rome ) was an Italian film producer and journalist .

Life

Comin was initially a journalist and busy film critic who wrote, among many others, for Il Popolo d'Italia and Lo Schermo , which he founded in 1923 . After a semi-professional film that he made in 1928, he studied film history at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in the 1930s, and in 1938 he submitted his first screenplay. 1940 began a time that lasted until 1965 as a production manager for numerous films, occasional screenwriter and three-time director . From 1964 he wrote regularly for the parapsychological journal Luce e ombra .

Comin also worked for the fascist government under Benito Mussolini as a speechwriter and as an organizer of visits by German politicians, including Hitler.
