Schmelz (Inzell)

Schmelz is around 740  m above sea level. NHN high-altitude district of the municipality of Inzell in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein .

The village , which used to be called Rauschenberg , is a former mining settlement . It originated in the early 17th century. Mining ended shortly before the middle of the 19th century.
