Schmiding is a hamlet in the Upper Bavarian municipality of Griesstätt (district of Rosenheim). It is located about 2.5 kilometers southeast of the main town.

Schmiding has four long-established rural properties: the landlord, with a former inn with drinks sales and a shooting club, the Eisner, the Huber and the Feldner.
