Johann Michael Schneitmann , also Schneidmann , was a Rococo architect living in Passau .

Schneitmann can be traced in Passau from 1720 to 1795. In 1745 he married Anna Franziska Pawanger, the widow of the builder Jakob Pawanger . Around 1750 he had the title of cathedral chapter mason. In 1781 he was appointed master builder and mason.

He designed three buildings that still exist today: In 1750 he completed the Dreifaltigkeitskirche Dommelstadl, begun by Severin Goldberger . According to his plans, the bourgeois orphanage was built in Passau between 1750 and 1762 . He also designed the double tower facade of the monastery church of Vornbach Monastery from 1770 .
